In the last three minutes of the town hall, everyone answers one question anonymously: “What’s the one thing you’re taking from today’s town hall?” Responses rotate on screen as the session closes. The last image the room sees is its own collective thought, not a company slide.
Town halls end and the moment dissipates. The slides get shared, the recording goes out, and two weeks later it’s hard to say what the group actually committed to. This activity makes the closing concrete. Not a summary from leadership, but a visible snapshot of what the room is leaving with.
How to use it:
- Share the participation link or QR code in the last few minutes of the session
- Everyone responds anonymously, one thought each
- Project the rotating display on the main screen as people leave
Works for: any town hall or all-hands where you want the session to end with something the group created, not something leadership prepared.
