For each pair, participants pick the priority that feels closer to where the organization actually is — not where leadership wants it to be. Results show up as a split, and the split starts the conversation.
Leadership teams often assume more alignment than actually exists. This activity makes it visible in two minutes, without anyone having to say something uncomfortable out loud.
How to use it:
- Share the participation link or QR code at the start of the session
- Everyone picks one option per pair — instinctively, not strategically
- Review the splits together: where is the team aligned? Where is it split?
Works for: leadership offsites, all-hands check-ins, quarterly planning sessions, or any moment where you want to know if the team is actually moving in the same direction.
