How it works
Create your experience
Log in to the author app and build your interactive presentation. Combine interactions, visualizations, and content slides to engage your audience and collect their responses in real time.
Open Questiory in Canva
In Canva, click Apps in the left sidebar. Search for Questiory, click the icon, and then click Open.
Paste your presentation URL
Copy the URL of your Questiory presentation and paste it into the input field. Click Add to designand the interactive embed will appear directly on your slide.
Resize on the slide
Once inserted, drag the corners of the Questiory embed to fit your design. Position and scale it just like any other element in Canva.

Where do I find my presentation URL?
Log in to author.questiory.com, open a presentation, and click Share. Copy the play URL. It will look like https://play.questiory.com/presentation/your-id. Paste it into the Questiory app panel inside Canva.
How do I find the Questiory app in Canva?
Open any Canva design, click the Apps icon in the left sidebar, and search for Questiory. Click the icon and then click Open. The app panel will appear and you can paste your presentation URL there.
Can I resize the Questiory embed on my slide?
Yes. Once the embed is inserted, you can drag its corners to resize it and move it anywhere on the slide, just like any other Canva element.
I added the link but I see "That doesn't look like a Questiory presentation link."
Make sure you're using the presentation play link, not a link from inside the author app or to a specific slide. The correct format is:https://play.questiory.com/presentation/presentation-id
Links that include /slides/slide-id at the end won't work. Go to the author app, open your presentation, click Share, and copy the link from there.
The embed shows a blank space. What's wrong?
Make sure you copied the full play URL. The URL format should be https://play.questiory.com/presentation/presentation-id. If the problem persists, try opening the URL in a browser first to verify it loads correctly.
Is Questiory free?
Questiory has a generous free plan that lets you create presentations and collect responses without a credit card. Paid plans unlock higher response limits, white-label branding, and more. The Canva app itself is always free to use.
Can participants respond on their phone?
Yes. Participants can respond from any device with a browser: phone, tablet, or desktop. No app download needed. The experience is fully mobile-friendly on both the embed side and the participation side.
Can I see who responded and what they said?
All responses are collected in your Questiory account at author.questiory.com, where you can review, moderate, and export participations. Responses are anonymous by default. The Canva app is just the embed layer. The data lives in Questiory.
What kinds of interactive content can I embed?
Any experience you build in Questiory: open-ended questions, multiple choice polls, word clouds, bar charts, pie charts, drawing activities, image submissions, radar charts, flipcards, and much more. You can also combine interactions with content slides to tell a full interactive story.
